Do you know what has got Marian Cekovsky in common with the Queen of England? Have a guess. No. He has not performed at Buckingham palace yet. Thought there is no doubt, Queen Elisabeth II would appreciate his outstanding performance and humor
We have decided to merge two big bugs together – Marian Cekovsky and the English elegance – into an unforgettable and inspirational event. In the place called La Bocca Cupcakes you can experience homemade deserts prepared according to traditional English recipes. Located on the crossroad of Klariska and Kapitulska street La Bocca Cupcakes will host the open air live concert of Marian Cekovsky on September 5, 2014. This music event will be an invitation for the Horsky park Challenge that will take place in Horsky park in Bratislava the next day.
La Boca Cupcakes will inspire you at first sight with its cosy interior and beautifully colourfull cupcakes. They are so pretty, its hard to decide for which one to go. The best, I guess, is to give them all a try, one by one. Even the owners claim is as the original American cupcake place, as soon as I walked inside I felt overwhelmed by the tradition and elegance of the English culture. The owners have long lived in England and this is where the lady owner gathered her experience of baking homemade cupcakes while studying at Birmingham City University. She prepares everyday fresh cupcakes, muffins and other deserts herself. All the ingredients are of the highest quality: bio eggs, butter, cheescream and blanched almond flour that is being imported directly from England. Sweet deserts with royal decoration go best with excellent Fairtrade coffee or different blends of exclusive tea served in big mugs and recalling the spirit of cold and rainy English afternoon.
We hope there won`t be any English weather in Bratislava on 5th September so that we can enjoy the evening to the fullest while being tolerant to the neighborhood. We start at 20.30 and the end is at 21.30 so that we can leave a tidy and calm place behind by 22.00. Careful, because during the latest concert one neighbor made a complaint and called the police, claiming he knows the mayor of Bratislava and will take his complaint directly to him personally. The owner of the La Bocca Cupcake has dealt with the situation with ease of an Englishman. He said to him: “And I have worked for the Queen of England.”
See you on September 5 at 20.30 at Klariska in Bratislava!
